After about five years this expensive soap dispenser stopped working.

I found my dispenser( yes, a Marielle!) at a second hand store still in it`s original package. It was one of those syncronistic moments since I was looking for a dispenser and found one that actually matched my fixture! What are the odds??
2 years later it stopped 'pumping'. Tried everything to fix it but to no luck. Went online to find another and WHOA! $52.00 bucks to replace it? Man did I score the first time round. After reading the other couple of comments on this product I doubt I`ll be replacing that particular model of dispensers anytime soon. (Yes, i`m still using soap....)

I installed this about a year ago and it's already stopped working. It won't suck up the soap. I've tried soaking it in hot water, then vinager with no luck. I think it's too expensive to only work one year.
