I also bought the ceiling support rod so there would be no problem with sagging. The chrome finish is very good. The two pieces screw together well and the ends fit perfectly. There were no instructions, but it is simple enough. It seems spendy to me but it's an unusual, low volume kind of item that I suppose is expensive to stock. At least nobody stocks them around here.

It looks great - we used a light shower curtain - and there was no noticeable problem without a ceiling bracket. Looks fabulous, very nice product.

We are having our bathtub refinished and needed an L shower rod. We could not find it anywhere locally. It looks great and we are just waiting for the tub to be complete so we can use it.
