works nicely, looks great

We like the spring loaded door and the back cover to help keep out cold drafts in the winter. The style fits our 100 year old house great. We had our contractor install it and it took some maneuvering to get it to fit correctly but we love it.

dimensions cut out incorrect

THE DIMENSIONS POSTED ON THE WEB ARE DIFFERENT THAN THE INSTRUCTIONS YOU GET WITH THE MAIL SLOT. THE PAPER INSTRUCTIONS CALL FOR AN 11 1/2 INCH LENGTH X 2 5/16 HIGH - WE ENDED UP WITH EXPOSED SCREWS ON THE INSIDE OF THE MAIL SLOT AND NO RECOURSE WITH THE CONTRACTOR - THE WEB SITE POSTED THE CORRECT CUT OUT DIMENSIONS. THIS ERROR HAS MADE FOR A BAD EXPERIENCE.
