Elegantly eclectic, the design of this Cresson cast pendant reflects the influences of three different historical periods. the origin of the treatment of the ribbed and scalloped leaves can be traced as far back as medieval Europe, often appearing as sculptural enrichment on Gothic architecture. Design inspiration for the supports comes from mid-18th century Rococo chandeliers, while the shallow bowl belongs wholly to early 19th century French Empire lustres. Superbly combined, they present a visually rich and unified design statement transcending any of the periods of their design influence.
Comes in a Burnished Bronze finish with Verde accents and White Scavo glass.
