The mirror adjusts to all the angles my wife wants and then groans at what she sees with 10x magnification. It was a simple mounting with a built-in plug for her hair dryer. The cost was at the high end of the armed mirrors, but if the unit lasts and circular bulbs and be purchased in time, I would increase the value up one. Remember to measure the reflector to the height of the face using it, e.g. sitting, before you screw the plate to the wall.

The hardware on this item is flawless. It is A-1 first class stuff.

It makes a hair look like a piece of linguini growing out of your nose.

Go with a lower magnification.

The light shorted out about three weeks and shocked me when I turned it off. Also, the mirror will not hold it's position. Going to have to return. I have read other online reviews and did not find them favorable. Too bad, really wanted this mirror to work.

Love the versitality of the fixture. The dimmable lighting feature is great. 10X magnification is quite strong, but you get used to it, and it is great to find all those little imperfections (or perhaps that would be bad).
