This lamp is more beautiful than we thought. The basic glass colors are neutral and we thought might not have as much of a glow, but we were wrong. It is very luminous and the muted, slightly gradated gold/beige background glass really sets off the accent colors of red and deep yellow. The height is nice for sitting beside a chair or sofa and being able to read comfortably. The 3-chain light pulls let you have as much light as you want--less light for ambiance and more light for reading.
