I did not have a doorbell and needed the knocker. With some new paint and the addition of this well crafted and heavy door knocker in dark oiled brass, its a quick upgrade without a new door. I have received a number of complements on it, even as compared to other aspects of my kitchen/family room/powder room renovation.

I would never order from this company again , there is a restocking fee and it took forever. L.A

This product is well made and heavy. It is exactly as pictured, except we ordered the antique brass finish. The directions were a little unclear but we were able to figure them out. I would recommend this product and this site to my family and friends.

The door knocker was easy to install and added shine and interest to our newly repainted front door. It has a good heft resulting in a substantial sound when used. We had to wait about a month for its arrival because it was backordered, but well worth the wait. Our holes for the previous door knocker were wider spaced but a little wood putty and drilling another hole was all my husband needed to do. Although no instructions were included in the package, it was not hard to figure out. Perhaps drill bit size information would help others.
