I was a little hesitant to purchase this light b/c of the price but I needed a small chandelier for our eat in kitchen table - so glad I bought it! The oiled bronze color is great - not too dark and still has a nice sheen to it (doesn't have a painted look that oiled bronze can). The glass shades are a plain frosted glass. This is the perfect light for transitional decor - not overly detailed, just perfect! I highly recommend!! Shipping was as expected - overall great experience!

It is more plain looking than I thought. I did not scroll over the middle of the picture so the little nubby part that projects downward from the assembly, I didn't notice and it bothers me due to just looking somehow out of place or too industrial looking somehow. I think I will dress it up by winding ribbon around the chain. It certainly has lightened up the kitchen after the dark, heavy stained glass fixture that seemed like a sore thumb in the light and airy kitchen before.
I am sure as time goes on this fixture will fade into the background as all things in the house do - the newness is the only reason it is noticed. And, it 's just a "thing"! "Things" don't really matter much!

It arrived before it was scheduled. It is beautiful - simple, elegant and with 300 watts of light over our dark cherrywood table - perfect.
It installed with no problems. The price was great. Great service - great product.
