attractive hardware dresses up formerly hideous cabinets

The 1940-1950 era flat panel cabinets in our kitchen had hideous arrow like H hinges and were the color of early american furniture.
We painted them white, added molding to the flat panels, and installed these hinges. This effort took our kitchen from hideous to lovely, with very little effort.

Bought these hinges to redo a kitchen hutch we bought at the Habitat for Humanity Restore for $70.
The new hinges really pop and are a great addition.
